Turbolinux, Inc., provider of Linux-based solutions, announced the international sales release of a convenient plug in CMU for the existing COBALT user to easily migrate to Turbolinux Appliance Server 2.0 (TLAS2).

TLAS2 launched last March as a state-of the-art Server OS. It enabled an easy set up of the server, settings and deployment on the Linux operating system equipped with the Web management console TLAS Server Desktop based on Blue Quartz. Users include hosting services, ISPs and rental server services as well as the small- or medium-sized companies and schools.

TLAS2 users can add the advanced function on each user's Web server and the mail server by installing the free plug ins from Turbo Plus, the management tool for TLAS Server.

Turbolinux has launched five varieties of free plug ins and will offer more in the future including PHPx2, PHP Accelerator, and CMS, the trial version of commercial software in Japan. For international versions, Turbolinux offers the Cobalt Migration Tool and more plug ins will be available in the future.

Turbolinux is offering a free 30-day trial of the latest version and other services with the download of the TLAS2 Starter Kit at http://www.turbolinux.com/products/starterkit.html.

Turbolinux develops and sells its Linux distribution in the Asia-Pacific region. The operating system is optimized to run on a wide range of hardware platforms, including Intel-based servers and IBM mainframes.
