Caucho Technology, Inc., an open source Java-PHP application
server vendor, announced 5000 customer sales. Caucho Technology
is a Sun Microsystems Java licensee and produces Resin, a Java-PHP application server. The company characterized Resin as stable, easy to
deploy and consistently delivering high performance to some of the
Internet’s most visited sites including CNet, KodakGallery and
Salesforce.

Co-Founder of Caucho Technology. Montal added, "Our 2006 sales numbers
are strong and we are consistently adding an average of one hundred new
customers per month. Our commitment to excellence in software design
has been fundamental to us since we launched our company in 1998."
Caucho
Technology customers are from a wide variety of government, education
and industry fields that require high performance, open source, load
balancing, stability, scalability and ease of use. Customers include
Wazap! (Japan's largest online gaming portal), the Scottish Visitors
Bureau, the American Red Cross and the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Resin features include Quercus, an
