Active Endpoints, Inc. (http://www.active-endpoints.com/), provider of BPEL (Business Process Execution Language) products and services, announced the availability of ActiveBPEL Enterprise for the Microsoft .NET Framework. ActiveBPEL Enterprise servers deliver BPEL design tools, execution and management capabilities, and run on a broad range of enterprise deployment platforms. The availability of ActiveBPEL Enterprise for .NET complements Active Endpoints' existing BPEL server solutions, which range from the market leading ActiveBPEL open source engine to enterprise-class servers for Apache Tomcat, JBoss Application Server, IBM WebSphere Application Server and BEA WebLogic Server.

"Active Endpoints has delivered a .NET version of ActiveBPEL Enterprise that provides the same level of functionality as their Java offering," said Richard R. Duffy, Product Manager, Westbrook Technologies, Inc. "The native .NET support will allow Westbrook Technologies to easily leverage BPEL with the Fortis product, providing customers the ability to integrate document management with their enterprise applications. ActiveBPEL Enterprise for .NET is a great addition to Active Endpoints' line-up of advanced, enterprise-class BPEL engines, one that will certainly provide significant value to the market."

ActiveBPEL Enterprise for .NET is a native solution for Microsoft .NET Framework users. The core BPEL server executes as a .NET service, delivering advanced capabilities such as ADO connection pooling, CPU clustering, fault tolerance and load balancing. ActiveBPEL's server consoles, Help subsystem and administrative APIs install into virtual directories in Microsoft's Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0. By supporting the advanced capabilities of .NET and IIS, ActiveBPEL Enterprise provides .NET users with enterprise-class BPEL performance, scalability and reliability.

"With the release of ActiveBPEL Enterprise for .NET, Active Endpoints now delivers industrial strength BPEL solutions for all key SOA platforms," said Ross Diesel, Product Architect, Absolute Systems. "Our customers have diverse deployment needs, so platform flexibility is a critical component of our solutions. ActiveBPEL Enterprise servers uniquely enable us to deliver high-value financial products that run flawlessly across all leading Java and .NET environments."
