TimeSys Announces Major Upgrade to Embedded Linux Developer Suite

TimeSys Corporation, developer service provider for the embedded Linux market,  announced anu pdate to LinuxLink with the release of a major, standards-based Eclipse and CDT upgrade to Developer Suite. LinuxLink by TimeSys is the first commercial offering to support the majority of embedded developers who build and assemble their own commercial-grade custom Linux platforms. Developer Suite is the tool of choice for cross development and leverages the benefits of LinuxLink to work with the latest versions of Linux kernels and tool chains, while simplifying every step in the development process.

This latest update based on Eclipse 3.1 and CDT 3.0.1, provides an end to end solution from kernel hacking to platform application development. Interoperability with a broad collection of third-party plug-ins in the Eclipse ecosystem addresses the primary problems and unique challenges faced by embedded developers.
