Creating or modifying .htaccess files can be a challenge. An online tool saves you the trouble: .htaccess File Generator lets you select the options you desire, and in turn produces a clean .htaccess file.

The Generator is divided into several sections that cover file types, authentication rules, ModRewrite options, custom error messages, etc.  After selecting the desired configuration, the new .htaccess file appears as text that you can copy and paste into a file on our system or server.
