gubb Creates the Ultimate API for Tech Junkies

gubb (www.gubb.net), the easy to use and always available online application devoted only to making and using lists, today announced the new Application Program Interface (API) that enables developers and programmers to integrate gubb using all the formats that matter: XML, JSON, HTML and Text.

gubb's API is simple to work with because it uses HTTP(S) communication, the true universal language of the Web. In this way, programmers can write applications consistent with multiple operating environments. With gubb's API, lists come alive for the first time in remarkable and unlikely ways, allowing gubb to “talk with” other popular online and desktop calendaring and e-mail applications, mobile enhancements and of course—widgets.

gubb co-founder and tech geek emeritus Joe Bergeron explained that users have, “consistently asked for unusual and streamlined access to their lists. Our API brings gubb a step closer to truly making lists available everywhere, all the time, in any way.”

gubb provides the ability to collaborate with others in making, SMSing and e-mailing lists, and in accessing the gubb service via text message if a member is without a browser-enabled phone. There is no software to download and not a single special keystroke to learn.
