ASC and PPI Bring Integrated Payment Processing to Supply Chain and Warehouse Management Applications

December 1, 2006; 05:32 AM
Payment Processing, Incorporated (PPI), the industry leader for integrated payment solutions, today announced a partnership with ASC, Inc., a developer of supply chain management software, to offer a complete POS and e-commerce solution to ASC customers.

We are excited about ASC's partnership with PPI because it offers ASC Trac customers a safe, secure and reliable payment processing solution that integrates seamlessly with our software. This combination solution has really proven itself for high volume credit card transactions in mission critical environments, says Pete Gilstrap, CEO of ASC, Inc.

The PPI PayMover payment gateway integrates with ASCs warehouse management suite, ASC Trac V6, a modular software solution that supports functions in warehouse distribution, manufacturing and third-party operations.

The integration enables both POS and e-commerce capability - providing full credit card support for both card present and card not present transactions. In addition, it handles ACH transactions through a single clientless solution.

PPI PayMover for ASC Trac V6 includes:

  • Integrated support of multiple payment types: credit card, off-line debit card, batch settlement, card present and card not present transactions
  • Simple integration via Developer APIs: .NET, COM, ASP, Visual Basic, Perl, Java, C/C++, PHP and Cold Fusion
  • Enhanced security features: PPI PayMover is PCI compliant and ASC customers receive free consultation and fraud monitoring from PPIs in-house Risk Management Team
  • Fast and reliable communication: TCP/IP, dial-up Internet

The PPI PayMover integration provides a comprehensive solution allowing ASC to easily integrate real-time payment processing into its application. With a single resource for technology, merchant account services and extensive technical support, ASC can now streamline its operations and reduce its support costs. In addition to optimizing the order process, the integration of these two cutting edge solutions relieves ASC from the hassle of maintaining, upgrading and troubleshooting an in-house transaction processing application, says Tim Murray, director of business development for PPI.
