Zeus Web Server Awarded IT Week Magazine Editor's Choice Award 2006

Zeus Technology announced that Zeus Web Server (ZWS), the most scalable, high-performance web server software available, has been awarded the IT Week Editor’s Choice Award 2006.

The editors of IT Week comment that there are many additional features with Zeus Web Server that are not available on other UNIX or Linux based web servers and commend the product for its scalability, ease of installation and use, security features and comprehensive API support.

The review states that web programmers will be impressed with the various services that are supported by Zeus Web Server, including PHP scripting, CGI, Fast CGI, ISAPI and NSAPI. It continues that Zeus Web Server has many features that are not available with other open source offerings, including:

= Denial of Service (DoS) attack prevention
= Malformed HTTP header protection
= HTTP request filtering (in addition to built-in attack monitoring and logging).
