Blacknight –- First Irish Company to Offer Ruby on Rails Hosting

Irish based hosting provider and domain registration company Blacknight Solutions (http://www.blacknight.ie), Carlow, announces the immediate availability of Ruby on Rails hosting to its clients.

Ruby on Rails developers wanting to try out the new technology can get up and running in a couple of minutes. The latest versions of both Ruby on Rails and Ruby gems are available to allow web developers produce content rich applications for their clients quickly and easily.

Ruby on Rails (http://www.rubyonrails.org/) is an open source web application framework written in Ruby that follows the MVC or Model-View-Controller architecture. It allows applications to be developed using less code and a minimum of configuration. Put even more simply – it allows for faster and more cost-effective web development

Blacknight has made Ruby on Rails available to their hosting clients on their Linux based hosting platform.
