Easy CGI Launches Free Domain Privacy FeatureJune 27, 2007; 09:05 AM With Easy CGI's Domain Privacy Feature, personal information will not be exposed in public WHOIS databases, preventing spam, unwanted phone calls and other unnecessary aggravation. The Easy CGI customer will retain full ownership and control of their domain. Domain registration information, including the Administrative, Billing and Technical contacts, are simply masked with generic contact information within public WHOIS databases. Requests to contact the domain owner are filtered and forwarded to the customer. "At Easy CGI, we understand the importance of privacy and security, particularly with regards to spammers, telemarketers and other undesired third parties. Domain Privacy enables us to offer domain registration services without forcing our clients to put their contact information into a public database that can be viewed and used by anyone," said Ted Beckwith, Vice President of Easy CGI. "We're passing on this benefit at no additional cost to our clients because we believe that privacy and security should not have a price tag. We offer superior solutions at exceptional rates and back that up with sincere customer care."
