Objectivity Announces a New 60-Day Trial Download for Leading Data Management Software

Reinforcing its leadership position in real-time data management solutions addressing complex inter-related data, Objectivity Inc., today announces a free 60-day trial download for its flagship data repository platform, Objectivity/DB®. This new extension from their previous 30-day download will give developers a greater opportunity to create an application for proof of performance or concept. The new 60-day trial download is available at Objectivity’s website www.objectivity.com. This important extended trial period will give developers 60 days to build their application with the latest version of Objectivity/DB free of charge.

More Trial Platforms

This new 60-day trial download is available for both Linux and Windows platforms including the following: RedHat Enterprise Linux V3 with GCC 3.2.3, Windows with VS 2005 C++ 8.0, Windows with VS 2003 C++ 7.1, Windows with VS C++ 6.0 and Java. The most recent version of Objectivity/DB release 9.2 enhances the connectivity of the product with support for IBM WebSphere plus other JCA compliant application servers, and improves the performance of its object-relational SQL++ product. Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for C++, Java, Python, Smalltalk and SQL/ODBC are available. Additionally, Objectivity/DB has new language and query capabilities including the groundbreaking parallel query engine (PQE) that can distribute queries out to small Objectivity query servers located close to the databases to be searched.
