EnterpriseDB, a leading enterprise-class, open source database company, announced that Atomogy, an enterprise software development and consulting organization, will integrate EnterpriseDB Advanced Server into its PROJIS software. PROJIS is a records-management solution for law enforcement and public safety agencies that tracks and stores vital judicial and law enforcement information. More information and free downloads of EnterpriseDB Advanced Server are available at www.enterprisedb.com.

"Our application demands the transactional consistency and resistance to data corruption that EnterpriseDB Advanced Server delivers," said Michael Baliel, chief executive officer of Atomogy. "We were also attracted to the software's PostgreSQL foundation, and we found that EnterpriseDB's 24x7 technical support packages fit our needs perfectly."

Baliel also cited EnterpriseDB's certification for use on the JBoss Application Server as a reason for Atomogy's selection of EnterpriseDB. Last week at the JBoss World conference in Las Vegas, Atomogy was presented with a JBoss Innovation Award in the Migration category for its criminal justice/law enforcement information system solutions. EnterpriseDB is one of only four JBoss Premier Solution Partners in the world, and EnterpriseDB Advanced Server was recently designated a "JBoss Certified Solution" for both the JBoss Application Server and the Hibernate object/relational persistence engine.
